Smoked Salmon filled candied bacon devilled eggs
(recipe from yours truly)
Ingredients:
12 eggs
2 tbsp mayo
2 tbsp philedelphia cream cheese
about 3 small pieces of smoked salmon, chopped tiny. or more for taste but be careful as it's very salty.
3 tbsp cour cream
1 tbsp lemon juice
pepper, to taste
tabasco, to taste
6-8 slices bacon
brown sugar
Directions:
heat oven to 350
place bacon on a parchement lined sheet
sprinkle some brown sugar over each slice of bacon and work it in
bake for about 20 minutes until crispy, checking often to make it it doesn't over cook
once cooked, let cool, the crumble it
Boil the eggs in the meantime. Place eggs in a pot and cover with cold water making sure that the eggs are all covered.
heat on high, uncovered until a rolling boil, then turn off the stovetop, cover, and leave on stove for 12-14 minutes. After timer goes off rince immediately with lots of cold water to stop the cooking.
Peel eggs, cut in halves and remove the yolks.
Add all the ingredients except for bacon and sugar to the yolks and mix well.
put yolks back into egg white halves.
top with crumbled bacon.
